In addition to what is provided to you as part of our design service, we can also offer a range of CGI imagery for your project. Whilst anything is possible we've provided examples below of what can be provided and why you might decide to have this prepared.

The cost for each image ranges from £400+VAT to £600+VAT per view. For clients wanting multiple views the cost per image can be reduced.

We have seen these images used as part of the design process and they have successfully allowed clients to make some really positive decision, helping to enhance the final environment they achieve on completion of the project. The images are also a great way of communicating expectations to the contractor, trades and suppliers.

If you are interested in having any of the options below produced for your project then lets have a chat through and work out what is needed and why and we can advise the most appropriate solution.

OPTION 1: PHOTOREALISTIC CGI IMAGE (STATIC IMAGE FROM A FIXED CAMERA POSTION)

We are able to provide you with photo-realistic images of your design so you can see how it could look. These images are normally produced by developers in order to sell properties before they are complete, but we like to use them as a design tool. If produced at an appropriate stage in the design process the images can be used to explore material options, refine the architectural detailing and create confidence allowing clients to feel comfortable with the more detailed choices. The images may also be used as part of a planning application to demonstrate how the design would look for authorities to make a decision by removing the risk of misinterpretation.

The images can include various material options that a client is considering and we have used the process to allow firm choices and preferences to be identified. The example below shows 2 options using natural stone cladding or contemporary brick as an accent material and then a change to the gable treatment with the right hand gable shown in timber and one in render.

OPTION 2: PHOTOMONTAGE (CGI IMAGE STITCHED INTO A PHOTOGRAPH)

We have used these images on projects where we need to demonstrate to local planning authorities how the design will actually look in a wider context. The example below was produced as part of an appeal against a refusal. The appeal was successful and the client is now living in the completed project.

OPTION 3: 360 DEGREE CGI (CONTROLLABLE PANORAMIC IMAGE FROM A FIXED CAMERA POSITION)

We can also provide a 360 degree controllable panoramic image which creates some depth and feel and allows you to look around. This can be provided for external and internal images. This is particularly useful for allowing you to see around an entire internal space without distorting the image. These images can be viewed on a phone, tablet or pc. An example on an actual project is included below. These are best viewed on a tablet and by entering into full screen mode clicking/tapping the broken square in the bottom right hand corner.

OPTION 4: VIRTUAL REALITY CGI (COMPUTER GENERATED ENVIRONMENT FOR VR HEADSET FROM A FIXED CAMERA POSITION)

As an upgrade to the panoramic images we can provide the image in a format that can then be used with a VR headset. We can produce this for external and internal camera positions and

This option provides you with the most realistic experience of what your design would feel like. Clients have chosen this option to enable them to experience how the most important spaces would feel for example a vaulted entrance hall or open plan kitchen/family spaces. Obviously we are unable to demonstrate this on our website by we do have a VR headset preloaded that we can let you try when we meet. If you already have a VR headset we can provide you with an example so you decide if this is something you’d like for your own project.
