This is an ongoing diary for a project we are delivering for a Client. We hope to cover the main stages of the build and update the diary regularly showing how the process moves forward. We execute 2-3 projects a year on behalf on Clients and they range from full projects to shell only where Client’s then take on the management of the internal fit out stages.
We are over the moon to secure the appointment to project manage this replacement dwelling in Dorset. Our role will include managing all aspects of the build, including the site, trade contractors including the procurement of materials and products. Having already secured planning permission for the Client and prepared full working drawings and details, it feels like a natural step to continue our involvement by helping the deliverable of the project on site. It enables continuity of design intent including the Client befitting from a delivery team with aligned interests to their own. We have already secured the Client a trade account to facilitate a huge financial benefit before we prepare to mobilise and complete site set up.

The site have been set up and secured, welfare facilities provided and demolition contractor is on site and the existing house is being dismantled. All the services have been disconnected, relevant notices submitted to HSE and Local Authority Building Control. Just 2 months after receiving the planning decision notice the project is well under way!
We are bang on programme with the existing property including all hard surfacing and below ground substructure completely removed and ready to commence the next phase.
The groundworkers are on site and making good progress with the excavation work. Following soil investigations executed prior to starting on site, it was confirmed that a shallow dig trench fill foundations would be acceptable.
