We have been delayed in reporting this project that was granted planning earlier this year for an interesting design in Liss, Hampshire. Located in a small village in Hampshire the existing 7 bedroom detached house was thought to be built in the early 1970's with 4,800ft² of accommodation on a 1 acre plot. The conceptual approach includes for the removal of the existing pitched roof and first floor structure, retention of the ground floor structure, with new first floor structure delivered using pre-fabricated timber frame construction. Small extensions to the footprint are required but the main objectives were to improve the quality of the internal spaces and to transform and update the exterior into a modern contemporary house.
